Passion in attempting to describe experiences when the words fail to exist.

My first glimmer of inspiration on my 8th birthday.

It has been here indefinitely.

Realized through my first meditation with the mountains of Alaska at 8 years old.

It only felt right for the opening of this page to feature the moment I fell in love with writing. A poem I wrote on my 8th birthday on a long car ride as I sobbed out the windows in the mountain’s majesty.

She simply named it:

Listen to Alaska

Fear Suffering

Fearing unknown suffering every day,Addicted to fabricated feelings,To be comfortable in pain to stay,Life to live in alienated dealings,Later as consolidated healings,Once you see suffering came because you,Overthinking the future with no clue,Believing in a similar outcome,This alone will make your suffering true,Fearing the agony is to succumb. Prayers to the Alaska Highway

The trip was as long as this story to be told must be. I have taken many long road trips, but none of them came close to being as extended as the journey I took when I was 7 years old. A ride that lasted for over 2 weeks, and…

Constellation Communication

Messages from the universe are like stars in the sky. One star is simply a star, but when you pay attention to all the stars around it — you see constellations form and the picture becomes more clear. A star is a part of a constellation only because we decided…

Ode to Eyes: Blackhole Souls

Collapsing into this world,It’s first absorption of light!Becomes a new singularity,With a center dark as night.Oh heavens, what dense receivers —Where nothing can escape! The grand warping of time,Perceiving everything in shape! What a marvelous kaleidoscope,Sculpting it’s event horizon!Colliding with the universe,In rhythm with all that flies in.Oh heavens, the soul it…

To Refuse all Difference

To Refuse all Difference dies —Unknowingly in plain disguise.Ignorance in pattern known —Denies unwilling that truth be shown.Comfort to believe them only wise.Subconscious preparation of their supplies —Planned and pruned unseen alibis.Spoke in certain, untamed tone —To Refuse all Difference. Can those who never apologize, truly hear a person’s cries?Playing by…

Neglected Bandaids

I don’t think I use bandaids enough — Got burnout in childhood, tryin’ to be tough. Pulling the plastic off that shiny new thing is too satisfying — Yet we survive in a world that we’re afraid of dying. Supposed to be living. Supposed to be giving. When if all…

Questions with the Universe

The universe wants you to ask it questions —The majority is followed while we wish on our luck with the illusion it keeps us safe.We cover ourselves in blind blanket notions —The electrons stay stuck and the kismet starts to chafe. We blame it on our fate when nothing can move…

Plastic Jesus

While I don’t believe in anything occurring randomly, and quite impossible to fathom what could be qualified as “best” when everything I see has its own unique meaning and purpose — this prompt reminded me of an afternoon with my sister fetching some coffee. I grew up in a strictly…

Listen to Alaska

As the raging wind hits my face, I cry —Among these mountains, I find perfect peace. It’s as if I’m soaring, riding the sky —A moment captured, and will never cease. Each sunset slowly falls, the snow along —These frozen tears drop lightly to the ground. As you venture through, you can hear…
